Step back in time... The island of Vinalhaven offers an array of scenic walks, hiking trails, and coves for kayaking. There are several fresh water quarries to swim in, and a few small beaches. Our bed and breakfast is centrally located so that you can enjoy it all.

At Payne Homestead Bed and Breakfast, we are dedicated to making your visit to Vinalhaven as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
A full, family style breakfast is served daily at 8am. You will then have plenty of time and energy to enjoy your days' island adventures to the fullest.
Although we do not permit smoking in our home, our guests who prefer to indulge their habit may step outside and enjoy the atmosphere from the front porch or back deck.
